The instructions in this article are intended to be shared with donors and members who want to cancel a recurring transaction through the Transaction Portal interface.
Canceling a recurring transaction
Follow these steps to cancel a recurring transaction.

Navigate to the Transaction Portal.

Enter the email address on file associated with your past and future transactions with the organization.

Click Lookup.

An authentication email containing a link to the Transaction Portal is then sent to your inbox.
- Open the authentication email and click the embedded link for Transaction History. This will redirect you to the Transaction Portal.
- From your Transaction Portal, locate the future transaction to want to cancel and then click Change Next Payment.
- Click the Change Payment Method tab.
- Click Cancel Recurring Payment.
- Confirm your cancellation. A pop-up window will appear indicating that you have successfully canceled the future transaction.
