# How can a donor cancel their recurring donation?

Canceling a recurring donation is controlled by the donor themselves. When the donation is made the donor will be emailed a confirmation receipt,  at the bottom of their receipt there is a link to cancel as seen in the image below. If the donor does not have access to their receipt please contact our support team so they can forward the receipt to you. You can cancel the recurring donation on the donor's behalf if they need additional assistance.
