Notifications in Humanitru keep you informed about important events, actions, and system updates. This guide explains notification types and how to manage them.
Part 1: What Are Notifications?Notifications are automated alerts triggered by Actions in Humanitru. They keep you informed and help you stay on top of important constituent interactions.

Alerts when Actions are recorded in your system:
- New Donation Action recorded
- Donation amount over threshold (e.g., > $5,000)
- Donation from new constituent
Campaign Notifications
Alerts for campaign activities:
- Campaign used for Action
Tag Notifications
Reminders for actions with specific Tags
Part 3: Notification Delivery MethodsHumanitru supports multiple delivery channels:
- Email Notifications: Sent to your registered email address
- SMS Notifications: Text message alerts (if enabled)
Customize which notifications you receive and how:
- Navigate to the Notifications tab
- Click “+ Create Notification”
- Set frequency (Action Created or Recurring Digest)
- Choose delivery method (text, email, both)
- Click "Save" button
Stay organized with notification management:
- View all notifications in your Notification tab
- Delete notifications when no longer needed
- Set up email notifications for high-priority events (gifts over $1,000).
