Overview

SmartyStreets (now Smarty) provides address validation and location-data tools that organizations use to ensure address information is accurate, standardized, and usable.

Alpine includes a free integration with SmartyStreets that processes valid addresses and breaks them into derived fields.

How It Works

Automatic Address Processing

If the SmartyStreets integration is enabled, when a Constituent's [Base] Field: Address is saved or updated, the system:

  1. Validates the address against USPS database

  2. Standardizes format to USPS specifications

  3. Enriches with additional geographic data

  4. Assigns a deliverability status

Setup

After customers are live in their Alpine database, the SmartyStreets integration can be safely enabled.
