Are QuickBook codes (Campaigns) that begin with [ID] automatically generated?
The Quickbooks Online Campaigns are automatically created when the Quickbooks Online integration is connected (namely, for Product/Service, Deposit To, Class, etc.).
To refresh the list of Campaigns (e.g. if a new Product/Service was created within Quickbooks Online and needs to be synced back into Humanitru Alpine for use), then you would:
- Toggle from Specify Default Quickbooks Online Option (Advanced) back to Use the Humanitru Pre-Defined Option.
- Then toggle back to Specify Default Quickbooks Online Option (Advanced).
NOTE: Client must code all gifts every day before 12:00 AM in order for those to go into QBO with the codes applied, otherwise it goes into a placeholder in QBO (NOT in Alpine) called “Humanitru Alpine Income” and they will need to be re-coded in QBO from there.
Bringing in the new codes added in QBO as Campaigns in Alpine will wipe all historic Campaigns applied / Humanitru Campaigns cannot be used to audit what was coded or not coded, only QBO can be used for that.
The default Product/Services that will be applied to the Quickbooks Online Sales Receipt will be the following:
- “Humanitru Alpine Donation”
- “Humanitru Alpine Ticket”
- “Humanitru Alpine Membership”
(the above three Product/Service are all under the Humanitru Alpine Income Income Account, so that’s another way of finding them)
