Pins are shared across your organization, so everyone with access sees the same Pinned Notes for a constituent. *![](https://kbhelp.humanitru.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Oct-09-2026-07-17-43-9989-PM.png?width=670&height=125&name=undefined-Oct-09-2026-07-17-43-9989-PM.png)* **What you can pin** Only Notes can be pinned. Other activity types, like calls or emails, can't be pinned. There's no limit to how many Notes you can pin on a constituent. **Pin a Note** There are a few ways to pin a Note. ### **Create a new Note from the Pinned Notes card** 1. On the constituent's profile, go to the **Pinned Notes** card. 2. Fill out the Note. **Pin this Note** is selected by default. Clear it to save the Note without pinning. 5. On the **Pinned Notes** card, select **Add Note**, then **Pin Existing Note**. The Action Timeline filters to show only Notes. 2. On the **Action Timeline**, select the checkbox next to each Note. 3. If your selection includes anything else, like a call or an email, the option is disabled. Deselect the other items to turn it back on. If your selection includes Notes that are already pinned, they stay pinned and keep their place. Only the Notes that weren't pinned yet are added. On the **Pinned Notes** card, find the Note. 2. Select the **⋯** menu, then **Unpin**. Unpinning only removes the pin. The Note stays on the Action Timeline, and you can pin it again later. *![](https://kbhelp.humanitru.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Oct-09-2026-07-17-43-8129-PM.png?width=249&height=176&name=undefined-Oct-09-2026-07-17-43-8129-PM.png)* **Reorder Pinned Notes** Drag a Note up or down on the **Pinned Notes** card. The order is shared with everyone in your organization. A newly pinned Note appears at the top. If you pin several Notes at once, they keep the order they had on the timeline. **Edit or delete a Pinned Note** - **Edit:** Select **⋯**, then **Edit**. Editing a Note doesn't change whether it's pinned or where it appears. - **Delete:** Delete the Note from the Action Timeline. Deleting a Note also removes its pin. **What changes and what doesn't** - Pinning doesn't change the Note's date. The card shows the same date as the timeline. - Reordering or unpinning isn't counted as an edit to the Note. - If two constituents are merged, Pinned Notes move to the surviving record. - Pinned Notes don't appear in reports or exports. **Who can do what** | | Admin | Entry Only / Entry Only Plus | Member | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | View Pinned Notes | Yes | Yes | Yes | | Create a new Note and pin it | Yes | Yes | No | | Pin existing Notes | Yes | No | No | | Reorder | Yes | Yes | No | | Edit | Yes | Yes | No | | Unpin | Yes | No | No | -
