How to Suppress Constituents from Donor Insights

Overview

This guide covers the steps for using the 'Exclude from Donor Insights' feature to suppress constituents associated with a specific tag from being included in Weekly Nudges and Prospects in Donor Insights.

Procedure: Excluding Tags from Donor Insights

1. Use the icon labeled ‘Tags’ on the lefthand navigation bar to manage your Tags.

2. Locate the tag you want to edit. If needed, use the Search bar on the lefthand side of the screen to help find the tag.

3. When your mouse hovers over the right-hand side of the tag, several icons will become visible.

1. Delete (Trashcan) - Completely removes the Tag from your database
2. Edit (Pencil) - Allows the Tag to be renamed
3. Favorite (Star) - Allows the Tag to show in Favorites list
4. Details (List) - Creates Actions Report of all Constituents with the Tag
5. Constituents (Outline of person) - Create Constituent Report of all Constituents with the Tag
6. Force Sync Email List Now (Paper Airplane) - Pushes to Email tool Immediately
7. Sync to Email Marketing Nightly (Arrows in a circle) - Syncs Tag to Email tool Nightly
8. Exclude from Donor Insights (Eye Open/Eye Closed) - Excludes Tags from Weekly Nudges and Prospects in Donor Insights

4. Click the Exclude from Donor Insights icon (Eye Open/Eye Closed). This excludes the tag from Weekly Nudges and Prospects in Donor Insights.

5. Click "Save Changes".
