Next, select the "Donation Made" option from the "Type of Donation" drop-down and enter the Action Date (the date the shares were transferred). The amount field may be used to represent the value on the date of donation or the sold amount per your organization’s standards. The issuer and number of shares should be entered in the Note field (a Prefix can be used to easily access this information in Reports). [Blueprints](https://kbhelp.humanitru.com/knowledge/how-to-use-action-templates?hsLang=en) allow you to standardize this entry.
