August 2026 - Product Updates
What's new in Humanitru
1. Customize your fiscal year
Whether your fiscal year runs from July to June, October to September, or something else, your reports and dashboards can now be customized to match. Easily toggle dashboard widgets, constituent reporting, and action reporting using the “fiscal year” dropdown option to see up-to-date reporting that reflects your fiscal deadlines. If you’d like to change your organization’s fiscal year setting, just reach out to your Customer Success Manager or the Support Team.

2. Quickly find and fix bulk upload errors
When a bulk upload file encounters an error (like a missing email address or invalid character) you'll now receive a report of exactly what caused the issue and how to fix it. This improved error reporting makes it easy to identify and fix issues quickly, so you can get your data into Humanitru and start using it in reports, automations, and more.

3. Reduce synced placeholder contacts in your database
You may have noticed that some platforms sync “placeholder” donor names to Humanitru, resulting in donor records with names like "Visa Cardholder" or "Valued Customer.” Moving forward, when these records include a valid email address, Humanitru will match the constituent and allow the placeholder name to be overwritten by the donor’s real name. When a placeholder name is not associated with a valid email address, that transaction will now be grouped under a single shared “anonymous” constituent record for each integration, rather than filling your database with duplicate placeholder records.
New and updated integrations
New: Square
Square is one payment service for your entire organization, taking care of payments, processing, analytics, and more, so you can focus on your members and your mission. Learn more about Square here.
New: Cuseum
Cuseum is a digital membership and engagement platform that hundreds of museums and cultural organizations rely on to deliver digital membership cards, mobile guides, guest passes, loyalty programs, and lifecycle communications that strengthen their supporter relationships. Learn more about Cuseum.
Updated: ACME membership action matching
We've improved the match logic for ACME membership actions, so when primary and secondary members share an email address, the membership action will be applied to the primary card holder and linked to the secondary card holder.
Updated: Mailchimp sync improvements
If you’ve recently noticed more contacts being synced to Humanitru from Mailchimp, that’s likely because we’ve updated the sync process to no longer skip constituents who are missing “required fields,” ensuring that all of your contacts make it to Humanitru.
