This article provides an overview of Alpine's "Creation Date" field and how it can be used in reporting.
As of September 23, 2025, all of your Constituents now have a "Creation Date" base field that shows the date this Constituent was created in your Alpine database.
This field cannot be edited by users, but Admin and Member users can set it to be used as an email marketing merge field by checking this box within Settings > All Fields:
How can I use "Creation Date" in Constituent Reporting?

"Creation Date" can be added as a column to any of your existing saved reports, or any new reports you want to build. To do so, just click the blue "Click Here to Add or Edit [X] Columns Shown," then select "Creation Date" under the "Base" dropdown:

You can sort your report by the Creation Date column after you add it by clicking the arrow next to the column title:
Using "Creation Date" as a Filter Criteria
- Select "Field Value" from the "Choose Filter" dropdown:

- Select "Creation Date" as the field value in your filter:

- Select "the same day as," "happens after," "happens after or the same day as," "happens before," or "happens before or the same day as" as the Match value depending on your reporting needs:

- Select whatever date you need from the date picker:

- Click "Filter Constituents," and you'll have a list of all Constituents whose "Creation Date" field value matches the criteria you specified in steps 3 and 4.
